Chelsea fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday. With this 2-0 victory, Tottenham earned their first Premier League victory against Chelsea since November 2018.
Oliver Skipp's outstanding goal only 19 seconds into the second half gave Tottenham Hotspur the lead over Chelsea at home, increasing the pressure on Graham Potter. Harry Kane added the second, from a corner
Chelsea's inability to generate opportunities was still evident under Potter, who had made six changes to his starting lineup. In 24 games, they have only managed to score 23 goals.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made his first start in almost a month from the bench, but by that point, his club had fallen down by two goals with no hope of rallying, and many fans in the opposing end had left the stadium.
Chelsea now sits 14 points outside of the Champions League spots after winning just two of their previous 15 matches in the top league.
